Network marketing business the right way
How to market your network marketing business the right way so you make money instead of losing money.
1) Remember it is network marketing
That means it starts with networking.
If you have some friends and family left, then you prospect through them and you get referrals and some sales. If you do have a great product that people want, it should not be difficult to get referrals.
Prospecting through is simply asking your friends if they know someone who is interested in your product and give them a killer brochure. It is rejection free and effective.
This is the doorway theory: every person is the door for hundreds of people.
Which one is better?
Ask them to buy and get rejected or
Prospect through and get access to their friends and family. Your friends like you and want to help you.
Another trick that Dave Cones shared with us last Saturday in the mentoring for free calls: Ask for their opinion. Get the killer brochure for your product and ask your warm market: What do they think about it? You are doing market research rejection free ;) – Every one likes giving his opinion.
Then after you get some happy customers with your great products then you ask them for referrals. Hopefully with your great products, those referrals become customers and source of referrals for you...
If no one would buy your products then find a real mlm business.
If you have been in many network marketing companies before and people are scared from you as soon as they see you. You just have to change your approach by asking their help for referrals for the products and do not mention the opportunity or the business aspect.

2) After you start making some money. You use this money (not your own money) to start advertising your products or your service. Then you can test post card marketing, internet marketing through ezine advertisements, Google adwords, having your own website...
Initially, the money that you make is not your money yet, it is the food for your baby (your business)!
Then you must be able to teach your team what you have just done.
3) When you start earning significant amount of money, you keep some in your savings account; you invest in real estate, in bonds...
Some network marketers are making lots of money and next day their company disappears from the face of the earth or their company decides to terminate them or their company decides to cancel the compensation plan!
If these guys are buying fancy cars and big houses, next day they get no checks then they are suddenly in depth.
If these guys are using their money wisely, they will survive and may not even get affected.

Network marketing junk to be aware of
Today I feel that I must inform you from the obvious m.l.m network marketing junk around.
This junk is what give this great industry the bad reputation.
I received an email from a person supposedly who is asking me my opinion.
Now this person is either pitching me on this new deal that he has found or he is simply naive (or may be even dumb)!
I usually do not discuss on how to evaluate a company in this blog.
I do have another website where I discuss these in details. I do feel obligated to inform you about this email though.
This guy is asking me my opinion about a junky pre-launch company called beontop!
1) I would never join a pre-launch company as a principle: pre-launch and new companies disappear most of the time. Would I want to get my team dreams in such companies? No no no.
I have published an article you may want to read: New network marketing companies: you can predict the future Ok, this junky pre-launch 'company' is called Beontop.
2) I decided to give this naive guy my opinion, so the first thing I evaluate in a business (surprisingly for most naive network marketers) is not the products nor compensation plans! Yes, you read it right.
What I do evaluate first is the policies and procedures! Then comes the comp plans and the products.
Yes, policies and procedures reflects how low or how high is the integrity of those 'leaders'
Very simply, I want to know if this company is planning to pay their distributors or steal their checks after getting the job done.
Look what I found in these junky pre-launch company policies: "BeOnTop has the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend or cancel, at any time and for any or no reason, a Member's membership in and access to the BeOnTop Website and the BeOnTop program. All Earnings may be cancelled in BeOnTop sole discretion, and the Member may be referred to appropriate law enforcement agencies if such action is deemed warranted by BeOnTop."
Very boldly, they tell you to check the box that you read this sentence. They tell you we have the right just to take your check and not pay you for NO REASON!!!! That was outrageous for me. I am sure in the next few months many 'idiots' are going to join this pre-launch company and their dreams will disappear when this company go bankrupt or get transformed to direct sales or simply terminate them when they stop working!
The worst is they are going to drag with them many poor souls !
I am going to add a new category in the future on how to evaluate a company because obviously many people are still unable to differentiate between most rip off mlm companies and companies with real residual income potential.
Some people can not even differentiate between scams and pyramid schemes and legal mlm companies! Till next tip

I got this question in a way or another frequently.
How do I motivate my downline?
I am going to discuss motivation in network marketing.
1) This is where "their" Why is so critical. If you have read Success in 10 Steps e-book, this is the first lesson.
You remind yourself as well as your team about their emotional reasons to get them fired up again to put the time and effort to build a business.
2) If you sponsor people based on manipulation and they do not have dreams and desires then good luck in getting them off the TV. This is why targeting your marketing is essential, sponsor people who have dreams and desires. Leave your uncle in peace, let him watch TV and drink his beer.
3) Most downline do not need motivation! They need training.
If prospecting is painful they are not going to work. Therefore, teach your downline the principles of marketing and rejection free prospecting.
They should be talking only to people who are waiting to hear from them.

Creating a downline is one of the main secrets of network marketing. People tend to think that downlines are just trend that network marketers create entice people to join the organization.
What they don't know is that it is the basis of network marketing organizations. You have to get as many people in the company and help them build their own business so that they can help you succeed too.
If you find yourself confused by what you've read to this point, don't despair. Everything should be crystal clear by the time you finish.
In reality, the reason why you have to build a downline as quickly as you can is based on the fact that it's best to work hard while you still have the energy to do it. And to think that only 5% of your lead members will only be helpful to your downline, it's best that you get on them quickly before you lose interest and stop creating downlines. The bottom line is that once you have created your front liners, you can already go easy with the succeeding operations.
3. The greater part of your time will be consumed on getting recruits.
In most cases, you'll end up recruiting almost everyday. It can be such a tedious work when not done properly. So, it's better if you think of a unique way how to get the people on the hook, with lesser effort as possible. In this manner, you'll be able to shun away from trying to get people who will most likely not be helpful at all. If you use such techniques, then you'll get only the people who would most probably respond to you because they are interested too and not just because you insist on it.
4. Do not stop.
This is, in fact, one of the greatest secrets of network marketing that man had not yet known. Most people believed that once they've build their front liners in their downline, they'll just have to wait and see.
As mentioned earlier, network marketing is a business, and a business needs constant checking if things are working well as it should be, ensure the probability of a higher income, and confirm if everybody's doing their job well.
The problem why most people fail, especially when it comes to network marketing, is that they want to get rich but don't want to do something about it.
5. Responsibility.
This is the main core of every network marketing. People who want to succeed in this kind of business should know that it is their responsibility in making their business grow. They should not depend on other people's work, say, your sponsor or your downlines.
In reality, there are actually no secrets into making it big in network marketing. From the very start, everything's laid down and it's all up to you how you will utilize them for your own benefit.
As they say, in life, there are no secrets to success. It's the right attitude that makes your dreams come true. Now you can understand why there's a growing interest in network marketing, make your business a big business today.

MLM secrets I discovered from the MLM university
I joined MLM University because I was not having success in my Network Marketing business. I believed with the right training I too can become successful. One secret taught by MLM University is the importance of using the right verbiage when introducing folks into your business. Other secrets taught include closing techniques and how to overcome objections.
Sounds great, right?
Only, I had a problem. Because of my personality, the techniques taught by MLM University were not natural and I struggled. So I practiced and practiced their techniques. I reasoned, if I verbalize it enough, it will become second nature. I even took this training to the market place. I got results but it wasn't pretty. Most people hid when I approached them again and I felt awful.
Soon I realized in order to be successful I would have to change my personality and become someone I’m not. I would have to sell, something I do not like. They call it selling by attraction. Yum, how attractive is it really?
I kept thinking there has to be another way to do this business.
During my struggle I searched for answers. I found the truth.
Three MLM secrets I learned.
I learned that Network Marketing is not a sales business. 90% of the population don't even like pushy, 'sales' people. WOW.
I learned Network Marketing is a people and mentoring business. The key to success is understanding people. Study people and find out how to help them reach their dreams. By reaching out and touching people's hearts your own dreams will be fulfilled.
I learned that real Network Marketing team building is voluntary. Now I never ask people to join me in my business. People voluntary come to me. That's truly rejection free! I learned when you use closing techniques you also closing the relationship. People buy from people who they know, like and trust. An easy way to get people to trust you is by not closing them.
Now I'm having fun building my business. This approach has taken the pressure off of selling and trying to get people in my deal. Instead I'm sharing and building relationships with people quickly and easily. My approach to my network marketing business is ethical and I can talk with folks comfortable and with confidence.

If you've ever purchased a list of MLM business opportunity leads you are probably all to familiar with the "I am not interested" response from the other end of the phone. Rejection can be one of the most frustrating roadblocks to conquer when you are building your home based business.
There is a better way.. Really there is... The only roadblock to most network marketers is where they can get these company specific leads and not get ripped off by one of the major lead retailers in the process? The answer lies in generating your own company specific real time leads.
In actual fact the task is not that difficult. It would involve you either designing or having someone else design you a company specific lead capture page. Now this doesn't need to mention your company name or products exclusively but you can definitely share some of the most important features and benefits of your particular business. You are simply trying to put out the information that may attract the right type of people for your business. The more specific you can be on your lead capture page the more specific and targeted your leads will be.
When a lead company goes out and generates their leads they are using a fairly generic type of home business advertisement. The prospects are submitting their information to a fairly generic capture page that most likely outlines a few benefits that which almost any network company has such as time and financial freedom. This results in a fairly generic untargeted lead. You as the prospector have absolutely no idea what they are looking for in a home based business you just know they are looking into it. Speaking with unreceptive leads can be a major stumbling block in the career of any network marketer and one that can avoided for the most part by making sure you have a steady supply of fresh real time company specific leads for your opportunity. It's not guaranteed gold with company specific leads you'll still need to know how to work leads.

The more you advertise the more leads you will obviously generate and they will be delivered to you in real time. You will never generate a prospect any fresher or any more targeted then when you can do it on your own. And it feels better too!
