Network Marketing Success: Prospecting Secrets

For your network marketing success you need to understand some basics about human beings.

Remember, network marketing is not a sales business; it is relationship marketing.

Unfortunately, most network marketing companies fail to teach these basics in training, and their distributors are left struggling.

First, you must understand yourself and your patterns of thinking.

Second, for success in prospecting, especially long distance, you must be able to spot your prospect's pattern of thinking and find his "hot buttons."

Third, you must understand that your prospects' patterns of thinking may be completely different than yours.

Your network marketing success depends upon understanding the four major personality types. You need to speak your prospect's language, not your own, and you can discover a prospect's personality type by listening and by asking the right questions. What turns you on may be turning your prospect off!

For example, let's talk about the "blues."

  • They make up 15% of the population, and they are open and direct.
  • They talk too much, they volunteer more information than necessary, they like to have fun, they see the big picture, and most importantly, they don't like details and numbers.
  • Finally, they have difficulty in focusing on one task, and you may think they have a little bit of ADHD. More "blues" hold network marketing positions than any other personality type.

If you are a "blue," you need to learn to shut your mouth and stop interrupting your prospect; you must learn to listen, and you must learn to focus on your tasks.

In contrast, when you sponsor a "blue," you need to teach him how to listen and how to focus in order to succeed in network marketing. When you prospect a "blue," let him talk, and tell him about the trip you won and the fun you have with your team in network marketing.

Do not give him details. Make sure you follow up closely with him, but send him short and sweet e-mails. If you make the mistake of sending long, detailed e-mails to your blue prospect, he will block your e-mails, and he will screen his phone calls and never pick up. Let's talk about the “yellows.”

  • They make up 30% of the population, and they are open and indirect.
  • They are soft spoken, they are the super nice people, and they are very sensitive.
  • They don't like pushy aggressive people.

When your prospect a “yellow”, do not talk about money, and tell him how this business allows her to be with her family and loved ones, and how your products are helping people with their health and wealth.

Dare to focus on the money with them and you lost them forever.

As illustrated above, in order to have success in your prospecting, you need to understand the different personality types.

Great Online Resources for Webmasters

As the web becomes increasingly more crowded, it is important for webmasters to take the extra step to make their web sites user friendly. There are a number of free resources available to webmasters:

What is a Favorite Icon - Favicon? Favorite icons, also known as favicon, appear in the URL bar. When a user bookmarks a specific Web page, that Web page loads a customized icon into the user's browser, typically a tiny version of a company or Web site's logo. Because the favicon is usually displayed next to the web site address, it can act like a small logo or an icon that visitors can use to remember the web site or the site address.

The favicon is displayed next to the Web site's name in the Favorites list and can also be displayed in the Links toolbar. When a site has not created a favicon, IE will load the IE logo into the browser by default. When a user bookmarks a page, the browser will request a favicon.ico file from the directory of the Web page. If such a file exists, then the Web page is using a favicon and will return the file to the browser. Many browsers support favicons including all current versions of the major browsers support favicons, including Internet Explorer 5/6+, Firefox 1+, Mozilla 1+, Netscape 7+, Opera 7+, Konqueror 3+, Safari and more. If a particular browser doesn't have support for the favicon feature, it'll simply ignore the favicon and the presence of a favicon won't affect that browser.

Webmasters can establish branding by customizing a favorite icon. The free service from HTMLKit http://www.html-kit.com/favicon

Custom 404 Pages. Urls are often mistyped into browsers. When a domain is correctly entered, but the web pages full url is entered incorrectly, it is possible to display a custom error page to web site visitors. By providing users a navigational bar or assistance rather than a generic error page. The customized error page will help keep prospective customers on your site providing them alternatives.

Webmasters should also routinely check their log files and correct any pages that result in errors. Most log analysis software will provide the referring document information for a webpage (the page that the user was at prior to the current page). Use the web log to track faulty links, if the links are out of the webmaster's control (a 3rd part), consider setting up a re-direct and forwarding the traffic to the appropriate webpage.

Sample Custom 404s - http://www.web-search-engines.net/error-page or http://www.puzzle-place.net/error-page

Navigation Clear and intuitive navigation is important so that web surfers can locate the material of interest. Many web surfers will enter your website and land on a variety of pages. It is important that they navigate your site regardless of the webpage they landed on. Links on the site, should contain text that relates to the linked webpage's content.

Consider recruiting a child or inexperienced adult to test your website's navigation. Webmasters can often learn how others view their website, by just watching.

Webmaster Tools There are a number of freely available web tools that will evaluate a site for a variety of things. Most of the online tools will generate a report and highlight the positive aspects of the website and possibly the negative aspects of the website, as it relates to the evaluation.

Take a few extra steps to make your site stand up and out from a competitors.

Network Marketing Training- MLM Success POWER of Belief in YOURSEL

Network Marketing Training- MLM Success POWER of Belief in YOURSELF

by Doug Firebaugh

" Donot put your faith in what statistics say until you have carefully considered what they don't say."

William Watt

You can't do Network Marketing.

Look at the facts.

You aren't smart enough.

Look at the facts.

You aren't talented enough for Network Marketing.

Look at reality.

You cannot achieve it.

The numbers are against you.

You will never win in MLM.

The odds are against you.

You should consider the history. It cannot be done.

You will never learn Network Marketing.

Look at the past. You can't do it.

Look at the facts.

Tell that to Bill Gates.

Tell that to Henry Ford.

Tell that to Steven Spielberg.

Tell that to Shania Twain.

Tell that to Thomas Edison.

Don't dare tell that to Steve Jobs.

The Only Statistics that can Stop You in Network Marketing. In any endeavor in MLM are the statistics that you accept as TRUE.

The statistics never measure:

The Heart.

The Desire.

The Belief.

The Determination.

The Decision.

The Focus.

The Resolve.

INFERNO Secret:

All statistics do is give a general overview of what someone thinks is happening, when it comes to what you can do.

It does not matter what people think, perceive, know, or even have experienced when it comes to a dream in Network Marketing. Statistics are just someone's opinion of what they believe cannot be done in many cases, and it does not consider the incredible power that lies withing the human soul. It does not consider that also the desire that has been ignited in the heart, and burns deep within the spirit.

What has happened in the past, is a wasted thought, and a wasted conversation. It does not matter what has happened or is even happening at the moment.

INFERNO Secret:

The only thing that matters is what is happening inside of you.

STATS....you know what that stands for?

Stopping The Acceleration Towards Success.

The only statistic that matters as far as success is concerned... is

The WILL TO WIN in MLM. That is the Final Statistic, that will always overshadow all other statistics.

oh -- STATS also stands for:

Stop The Accepting That Success...(can't happen.) in MLM.

It WILL -- if YOU WILL!

I hope and pray you caught that...in your MLM and Network Marketing Business.

blessings....

FRESH FACE OF MLM – NETWORK MARKETING REVISITED

FRESH FACE OF MLM – NETWORK MARKETING REVISITED

You are The Owner of Your Destiny, [fname].

We use the word persistence without dwelling on what it truly means. The dictionary definition is clear: standing firm, enduring, tenacity, etc.

The true meaning of persistence however should be reflected in HOW to be . . . in the business sense.

Why do so many people quit after just a few months when starting a home-based business? Did they not understand what it takes to create a successful business in general? Or, did they think operating a home business is merely to escape from a nasty boss and the daily commute?

In any new business, one must expect significant obstacles and disappointments. If you are not prepared to go through these emotional snake pits, you should not start any business.

Persistent people have one thing in common. They are single minded in their quest for success. They sleep and breathe their business both because they enjoy most of the work involved and they view it as their mission to be accomplished. They constantly strive for solutions when obstacles are encountered. They constantly analyze the situation and themselves on a mental scorecard. They seek answers everywhere until they get them. Sometimes answers come from unexpected places and at that the moment they can say, "my prayers are answered".

Turtle's race with rabbit:

In business as in life, some people can run faster than others. It's the fact of life. But don't be sold on the absurd concept that faster is better. The speed of success is not as important as how you achieve it. You have to respect your own speed with which you are comfortable. Once you get underway, and hold the course, you are destined to arrive sooner or later. It's your self-race. You do not need to look at others who are passing you by, thinking you are lagging behind or failing. You just need to maintain tremendous faith in yourself and keep going.

Falsehood of getting-rich-quick:

There is a lot of noise on Internet superhighway. Unfortunately, the 21st century phenomenon of mass privatization has produced a clamor of false excitement by many amateur advertisers who push their products and services to gullible souls. Some advertisers use the audacious word "guaranteed". Hey, nothing is guaranteed in this world except death and taxes. If you are prudent and sort out all the weeds and debris, you are already half way to building a real business.

The Leverage Principle:

The lever and fulcrum is the simplest device known to man since the time of the Greeks. "Give me a place to stand on, then I will move the earth" said Archemedes. This great mathematician was of course talking about the power of leverage. A company gains leverage by borrowing capital to expand its operation in turn increasing the stock price. On another business front, the power of leverage has been demonstrated in recent decades with the concept of franchise operations. A single owner of a business, who tries to do everything himself, and pocket 100% of the profits, does not understand the advantage of leveraging. If he expects 3% profit from each of 100 franchisee, his profit can go up to 300%. This leveraging power is the essential principle of network marketing. It is very powerful concept that by helping an entire down line community you help yourself much more than you could working alone.

Why More People are looking into Network Marketing:

As explained in Carter's book "Infinite Wealth", mass privatization is the massive transfer of business ownership from centralized, corporate bureaucracies into the hands of millions of self-employed individuals.

Already 20% of America's work forces are self-employed and more than 8 million of these are engage in network marketing. This number is growing very rapidly. Network marketing is only one of the vehicles that Carter identifies as contributing to the mass privatization of our economy. But it is clear that this is the most successful vehicle yet devised to help millions of people break free from the 9 to 5 grind.

With the recent havoc caused by the demise of many blue chip companies, workers are beginning to think more seriously about leaving the ranks of the employee to develop their retirement nest egg elsewhere. No company can guarantee long-term employment, not to mention a retirement plan, any longer.

Also, a large number of self-employed people who have received linear income over time, have begun to question whether their lucrative income will allow them to build much in the way of retirement savings. They already have lost big chunks of their retirement savings in the stock market crash of the last few years.

Saving a part of ones paycheck or linear income from self-employment is no longer a valid method for generating the "stream of income" needed for the retirement years. Consider the longer life span of average folks in the U.S. today. People live longer after retirement than before. To make the situation worse, the active employment age gets shorter and shorter due to the growing influx of younger workers. This gives employers the easy choice of replacing older workers with lower cost ones.

One of the proven solutions to retirement financial certainty has been found in the network marketing industry as network marketing can provide a solid income stream in various ways. Operating your own healthy and honest network marketing company can provide you with a perpetual stream of income if you are willing to invest the time, are driven for success, and willing to work in persistent a manner.

There are some important factors you must scrutinize, however, before jumping into networking marketing:

First, study the industrial cycle. The cycle has a lot to do with the types of products and services to offer. If the products or services have little current competition or the company is in the earlier stage of product introduction, your chances are better of generating a large income stream down the line.

The second important factor to consider is whether you are participating in the earlier stages of a networking hierarchy or the tail end. After 10 or 15 years of propagation, it is harder to kindle further fast expansion. If you associate yourself at this later stage, you will end up working harder and for a longer period of time. You essentially end up generating more income for those up-line people who came in earlier.

The third aspect of network marketing to watch is whether the company has unlimited potential expansion without resorting to hyperbole. Some products/services are of a genuine quality that matches the public’s demand and they do not need to be oversold.

A company like Retire Quickly Corporation passes these 3 most critical tests. http://www.retireQuickly.com/25243

Partnership or Solo:

Although it's true that you are the main source of success or failure, do not ignore the important contribution of your partner in your business.

Your partner provides camaraderie and is a kindred spirit who is taking the same journey with you through good and bad times. Two partners are like chop sticks supporting each other in an indispensable way. Your partner can help you rise out of an emotional slump when things are not going so well. Your partner can help you get back on track again when your mind is roaming around aimlessly with despair. You don't want to quit when you have trusting partner. Your partner can stimulate you to succeed. It is amazing how two like-minded, good friends can pump each other's energy up to a higher level for their joint success.

A partnership means teamwork. When you are committed to a team, you bring out your best to maintain the team’s spirit. We are born to be communal specie thus a joint survival is much stronger than solo survival. There is an old Korean adage "When you lift a sheet of paper jointly, it's much lighter". Working as a unit, not as a twosome, is the core spirit that speeds up the success in your business. My observation over the years indicates that there is a higher success rate in network marketing enterprise with partnerships rather than solo players.

Reflection:

In my 25 years as an investment adviser and analyst, I have watched many new fads come and go. Yet through it all, there are many successful companies that shine for a long time and continue to thrive. These shining stars do not, in general, overly hype their business with empty clamor. They quietly thrive as a powerful undercurrent. I've witnessed such an impressive operation in the Retire Quickly Corporation.

You may check it out at the website: http://www.retireQuickly.com/25243 and find out why I joined it with excitement.

MLM Success Training- The 4 Phases to Building a HUGE MLM Organization

The 4 Phases of Building Your MLM Organization.

You will build your MLM group in Phases.

That is one of the best kept secrets in Network Marketing. It is a business of phases and growth and seasons.

What is a phase?

It is a period of time in your life that you go through and through those times you experience many things, one being growth.

Your MLM organization is no exception. It will go through 4 phases of growth, if you let it.

INFERNO Secret:

Most downlines never go through all 4 phases, as they get stuck in one and stay there.

BUT NOT YOU!

You will stick with it and continue building your group till it reaches the phase you want it to be at.

OK.

What are the 4 Phases of MLM organizational growth?

1) FRAGILE.

This Phase is the first period of time that you and your fledgling downline will go through, and it can be a rough one.

This period of time is where you are new, and really don’t know the business, your skin is not 2 inches thick, you have no prior experience in MLM, and you are on a major learning curve, and you will make mistakes.

This is where you are actually developing your belief and trust in the industry, and many things can shake your focus and belief.

Family.

Spouses.

Friends.

Co-workers.

Set Backs.

People telling you NO.

And the list goes on.

You really are fragile in this business, because you have not developed your “Success Muscles” to help you go on in face of adversity, and your group is as well.

This is where a lot of people quit. They never “get it” that you must grow beyond the Fragile Phase to build a business. They got their feelings hurt constantly by their negative prospects, because they were in the Fragile phase and never grew beyond it.

In the Fragile stage is where most people quit, as they cannot take the Negatives and Disappointments that are innate to MLM and entrepeneurism, but their problem was NOT the negatives, but their lack of understanding how to take them and what was REALLY happening with that kind of response. PassionFire has a training on that called “Inoculation." Read it again if you already have.

2) SOLIDIFYING.

This second phase is where you have grown beyond the Fragile phase, and now your group is starting to grow more solid and be more consistent in Volume and paychecks. In the Solidifying phase, you start to see some Leaders emerge, and volume becomes solid and steady, as well as paychecks start to get steady and consistent.

When your group moves into this phase, you will know it and sense it as well. Your leaders will start to experience success as well as you and it is consistent, and you will see some leaders start to create their own identity in this business.

And you will sense some beginnings of momentum as well.

You will start to see some growth in your group that you had absolutely nothing to do with, and it will continue.

And you will see some new faces starting to show up in your group that you don’t know who they are, or their names.

THAT is when you will FEEL your group starting to Solidify, and that is where the majority of people quit.

80-90% of people who leave this business leave during the first 2 stages, and most leave during the first.

3) MATURE.

This phase is where the big money starts showing up. You can make a living in the solidifying phase, a nice one, but this phase is where the big checks start showing up, and show up they do. Not only for you, but also your leaders as well.

This phase is where you start to have “Layered Leadership” and that simply means you have Leaders in layers in your downline in many legs, and they now start to have Leaders showing up in their group as well. And the numbers in your group now number in the thousands, and many are active Leaders.

The Mature Phase also shows that your leaders have taught and duplicated how to build leaders in their group, and the dynamics of your group here become exciting as “Mature Pockets” start showing up and they no longer need you, as they have “splintered” into their own leadership organization.

This phase, $100,000 a year is commonplace.

And Millionaires to be start showing up.

4) ROCK SOLID.

This is the “WEALTH CREATION” Phase. This phase is where Wealth is created and accumulated and Millionaires roll up in this business.

This phase is where no matter what you do, you cannot mess up your business, and it will continue on in the event of your death.

The Rock Solid Phase is where also you have many Mature “Pockets” of distributors in your group, and now you have Mature Leaders that have big groups and many layers of Leadership.

Many people get close to this phase but never achieve it as they lack the Leadership skills to take it to this level…and many are close to it, but yet don’t understand it is that last 10% effort that most never give that determine the Rock Solid phase.

So those are the 4 phases of Organizational Growth in MLM.

Fragile, Solidifying, Mature, and Rock Solid.

Where do you see your group heading?

The answer to that will determine your future in MLM and Network Marketing.

Is Your Website Provider a Search Engine Optimization Expert?

Selecting an auto dealer website provider knowledgeable in automotive search engine optimization can give your automotive dealership the competitive edge it needs to be successful online. Many website providers choose to completely forego this essential aspect of website creation because it requires in-depth knowledge of the various search engines and their proprietary algorithms. In addition, the process of properly optimizing a site is ongoing and requires constant revision and careful maintenance. The simple solution for many providers has been to outsource this painstaking task. The question then becomes

Should I go with a provider that out-sources SEO?

Should I use one that builds websites with SEO in mind?

The latter will always prove better results in the long run. Simply put, a third party company will not be able to edit your auto dealer website's framework as easily as your web site provider and therefore is not as effective in giving your site high placement in search engines.

These questions require careful consideration when choosing a website provider. Below are a few ideas to help you make the right decision.

Keyword Research

An immensely important part of the optimizing process is the identification of relevant keywords and key phrases. An auto dealer website provider should cultivate the right list for your automotive dealership website in the setup process taking into account your market and franchise. This is a highly specialized and time consuming process requiring industry expertise. Once your website provider has identified a good list of terms, they should provide them to you for a review and update.

Site Review

This is an important consulting task where the site is evaluated from a technical aspect. In order for an auto dealer website to be given high placement in search results, the site needs to be indexed and analyzed by the search engine. Search engines accomplish this by sending out small computer programs, called 'Spiders' to compile this data about your website. The website needs to be built in such a way that it can be easily accessed by these spiders. For instance, search engine spiders do not like flash, heavy graphics, and frames. The proper website provider should use these elements as strategically as possible.

Manual Submission

It is important to manually submit to major search engines and directories, as well as having a website provider that will send you the submission confirmations. Submission alone does not guarantee good positioning; it's the optimization of pages that determines high rankings due to good content and properly coded pages.

Paid Inclusion

These are fee based listings, available in various search engines and directories. Overture's SiteMatch service will get you listings in Yahoo!, AllTheWeb, AltaVista and other portals for $10-$49 USD per URL. Another important paid inclusion for commercial sites is the Yahoo! Express listing for $299 USD per year.

Link Popularity Strategies

What's important here is to get high traffic sites to link to you. This is not easy to do these days, and the proper website provider knows how to get quality links without resorting to unethical linking strategies.

Pay Per Click Options

Many times, a good balance between paid and organic search is required to meet site goals, and a good auto dealer website provider will utilize paid search and paid inclusion.

The main advantages of choosing a website provider with SEO expertise is that you will get better results when experts do it for you. SEO is a complex process that requires proficiency to maintain long term results. SEO work requires a lot of trial and error and has a steep learning curve because of ongoing changes in search engine algorithms.

Reviewing the above information while interviewing a website provider should help you choose an auto dealer website provider that will make the most of your online marketing efforts with effective automotive SEO and SEM.

3 Common MLM Pitfalls and How to Avoid Them

Every time people try to join a multi-level marketing or MLM, they have a set of questions in mind: What are the chances of earning really good money? Is MLM the best possible way to earn more money or does MLM reap more money from you more than what it can give you? How reliable is the company? Will the effort and achievement that you will give be paid off?

All of these things are considered in an MLM program. However, like any business, MLM programs do not guarantee sure success unless you work hard for it. That is why the triumphant MLM marketer knows how important it is to incorporate the right blend of determination, hard work, a little luck, and the willingness to learn everything.

Basically, MLM is a new way of doing business that primarily entails the combination of franchising and direct marketing. With MLM, people have to work together in order to reap success. That is why most people also consider MLM as one way of network marketing.

For this reason, MLM marketers know how important their downlines are. They know that by helping other people to succeed, they become successful as well.

Then again, not all MLM programs are created equal. Hence, there is always a possibility that a particular MLM program may not work best for you. The result: many marketers tend to fail on their MLM career.

Therefore, for those who want to know how to avoid failing in MLM, here are three common pitfalls that you have to watch out. Avoiding them and generating an alternative will make you succeed in MLM.

Pitfall #1: Very high expectations

The problem with most MLM marketer is that they are so enticed with the good things that their recruiters had been telling them that they end up expecting too much on the business. Just like the others, they expect that the business will definitely allow them reap more money at once.

It is the "get rich quick" syndrome that really brings most MLM marketers down. And because most people would love to earn more money in the shortest possible time, they easily fall as prey.

What they fail to realize is that MLM is just the same as any venture that needs dogged determination, pure dedication, and untainted hard work.

The Solution

In order to succeed in MLM, people should keep in mind that it is not a "get rich quick" scheme. There should be lots of determination and hard work in order to succeed.

Moreover, try to shun away from MLM programs that has too-good-to-be-true features. The things is, they are what they are, really too-good-to-be-true program.

Pitfall #2: Lack of education

The problem with most people who fail in MLM is that they do not have enough education about the program that they tend to overlook the important factors that need to be considered.

There are those who do not take the business seriously. They thought that it is just a trend and that as soon as their interests wane, the business will fail as well.

Also, the problem why people fail in MLM is that they want to earn money without having to exert too much effort. They do not take the initiative to learn the things that will help them in their MLM career.

Indeed, no knowing the important aspects of the business will make you believe things in the most deceptive way.

The Solution

They should believe on the saying that it is better to earn while you learn. Try to hone your skills in such a way that you will be able to develop a good selling point in your career.

Educate yourself with all the possible information that you can use in dealing with the program. Try to learn new tactics and generate new selling methods.

Pitfall #3: Failure to empathize with the customers

Another reason why most people fail in MLM is the fact that most marketers fail to empathize with their customers. Most MLM marketers become so self-centered that all they think about are their selves and on how they can earn more money.

What happens next is that they push their products to their customers without taking time to analyze whether their customers really need the product or not.

The Solution

They should learn how to empathize with their customers. It would be better to put themselves in the shoes of their customers. In this way, they will realize that selling should not be made in such away that people are compelled to buy things that they do not need.

What every MLM marketer should do is to help other people's lives so that they will boost their income.

All of these things are boiled down to the fact that MLM is, indeed, a serious business. People should learn that the effort the results they will reap are proportionate to their efforts. Hence, they should work harder in order to succeed in MLM.
